MIF (Noise Budget)

Updated noise budget

I added ITMX IM TMOLDAMP control noise and High power coil driver noise for ITMX TML.

Hmm... I roughly cross checked the result. But the web app calcuration looks OK.
The reason why ITMX HPCD noise get higher than the DARM sensitivity should be that I miss something. But  conversion from V to cnt for HPCD noise, TF from TML_OUT to PROC_DARM, de-whitening for DARM... and what?

The HPCD noise model is uploaded in the 2nd figure.

Oh, and I updated the code for interpolation.

OK, I found the cause of the 10^-4 difference from the Michimura-kun's calculation.

I think Michimura-kun used the : ~2x10^-9 V/rtHz as a coil driver noise (ref: https://gwdoc.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/cgi-bin/private/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=3453)

I used the result of the Shimode-san's measurement: ~3x10^-5 V/rtHz (ref: https://gwdoc.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/cgi-bin/private/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=7823)

Why is that different so much??? The TF from the input to the output of a coil driver is 1 both for measurement and calculation.

According to Miyakawa-san's measurement, DAC noise is 1x10^-6 V/rtHz.
This is consistent with the expected value coming from the specification value of DAC (Input: +/-10V, Depth: 16bit).

Believing Shimode-san's measurement, coil driver's noise is higher than DAC's one.
Is it reasonable?

I don’t think so. I discussed with Miyakawa-san and he said some amplifier might be included in the measurement, though it is not described. He will check with Shimode-san.

Shimode-san's measurement had 1000 times gain. It was written at title of measured graph, or see log in the zip file.

Measured point was at the direct output for coil with no coil or no resistance), not at the monitor point.

Detail for measurements is shown here;

http://gwclio.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/lcgtsubgroup/electronics/2018/05/coil-driver2.html

See 3rd method on atatched Exel file on above page.

Even measured data for 3 dewhitening stage was not limited by detector noise. You can use all the data directly for calculation if you devide by 1000.

Thank you for the checking. I updated the noise budget.

Good!

By the way, did you include the DAC noise? Yamamoto-kun estimated it before in 11682.

Circuit noise of coil driver is enough low as 1e-8V/rz order, it means that acutual output is limited by DAC noise as 1e-6V/rHz order.

This DAC noise can be omitted when enough dewhitening filters are on.
